Miracle Testimonies
Jeanne: My foot that had been hurting since September, was fine all the while we were in Israel. We had prayed for it in our prayer group a few weeks before we left. I went to get new shoes in Billings before our trip and the shoe man said I have been wearing too small of shoes. So he sold me these Earth shoes that felt way too big.
But my foot gradually started feeling better. And like I said it was totally fine while in Israel. Since we have been home I can feel it when walking barefoot but it is not hurting like it did a couple of months ago. I know that is a miracle from God.
Ashlin: The fact that I even went was probably the biggest miracle for me! I feel like such an overcomer, more than a conquerer! Looking back at all the fear and anxiety I used to be bound by and to see where God has brought me today, is more than I could EVER ask for! I am FREE! And after that experience, I feel like I could go ANYWHERE!...PRAISE GOD!
Carl & Betty Sharp: Although this might seem like a small miracle to some, to me it is huge. I suffer from migraine headaches, especially when traveling (different pillow, headrests in planes too high, different sleep patterns, etc.). In fact the last 2 trips I took I spent a day or 2 each in bed with migraine and nausea. So I was very worried about this and had my family and Bible Study group praying for this. Well - no migraines for me on the whole trip, which was the longest trip I have ever taken. Praise the Lord for allowing me to experience Israel pain free!
Another very special thing for Carl and I occurred during the funeral of Carl's Mom. The message delivered by the Pastor used the visual of her leaving on a ship with all of us waving good-bye, while as she approached the opposite shore all of those who had gone before her were waving hello. When we got home, there on the computer from Rebecca was a poem she had written when Honey died with the SAME visual of the ship. What a blessing to us!
Rebecca: Oh, my goodness! the MIRACLES!!!! How can we possibly share them ALL? Let me just throw in one!
In all the years I have taken tours groups, or even BEFORE I was taking them, but just GOING, I have NEVER seen a group that had NO lost or delayed luggage, no delayed or canceled flights, no one getting separated from the group during the tour, no one getting upset for one reason or another, no one letting an angry or negative attitude cause division or sadness.........this was the absolute epitome of the perfect tour group! We met for the first time (many of us), and were instant "family"! Kristi, I agree with your scenario.....it was like leaving very close loved ones behind when we parted! How sweet to know we will spend eternity together!
The day I arrived home (ok, so I'm sharing ONE MORE miracle :a), was my 52nd Birthday. There was a message on my answering machine from a publishing company stating that they were sending me a contract in the mail..............it arrived THAT AFTERNOON! After much prayer and negotiations, (AND after a direct Word from the Lord sent through YOU, Pastor Jerrod), I signed the contract. This will open the way for much of the music YOU heard on the tour, to travel to all parts of the world in a much WIDER range of distribution.
Adam & Amber Huseby: The first miracle was for Adam and I to even go on this trip, it seemed as though there were tons of obstacles that kept getting in the way of us going.
Several miracles that come to mind during the trip were when the Israeli's found the rockets before they were fired over into Israel, and while all that was happening, not far away from us I wasn't really that scared, I felt safe. Also we were able to go into Bethlehem and bless the little Christian store. Also the renewing of our vows, it just worked out soooo beautifully, Adam and I were extremely blessed to have you all there witnessing that special occasion with us. Thank you for dancing with us, that was FUN!!!!
God is still doing miracles in our lives, Adam was accepted and offered the Customs job the day after we got home. He starts March 30th, and leaves for school in Georgia May 4th until the third week of Aug. That was an answered prayer.
Kristi: For several years I have struggled with sinus infections. I got one every two or three months. I even had nasal surgery two years ago to correct the problem, but they just kept coming back. I went back to my specialist a couple weeks before we left on our trip. He put me on antibiotics for four weeks and told me to do a nasal rinse twice a day, then come back the next month, which was a few days after we got back from Israel. I obeyed his instructions for the whole month – even in Israel where it was a challenge to find distilled water for the nasal rinse. When we returned home, it seemed everyone but me was sick. I was grateful that I had been on antibiotics and didn’t have to worry about getting an infection while I was over there! When I returned to the doctor for my follow-up, expecting him to say I needed another surgery, he examined me and said he didn’t see anything wrong. He said he wasn’t going to do surgery for nothing, so told me to keep rinsing my nose and let him know right away if I get an infection. I haven’t had one yet!
